Some looks start with glamour. This one starts with scalp care, which is much more honest. After a full day in the sun, my hair and scalp deserve argan oil, a little patience, and preferably something pretty on top so I can still pretend I have my life together.

I am wearing Midori’s Sunny skin with Midori’s Sunshine eyes, both from the weekend sales. It gives the face that warm, late-day softness I wanted for this picture, especially with the blue of the eyes cutting through the darker evening mood. Sunny is a good name for it, honestly. It looks like the sun was involved, but politely.
My hair base is Addon+’s Zola, and it sits beautifully under Areal’s Ellybee headscarf, also from this round of the weekend sales. That scarf is doing more than looking cute here. It lets me tuck everything away while the argan oil does its thing, which is exactly the kind of styling excuse I appreciate after too much sun and not enough sensible behavior.
For the face, I used Warpaint’s I Woke Up Like This 11 set, Midori’s chapped lips, and Goreglam’s Bliss eyeshadow. Then I added some of Izzie’s face highlights over the other layers for that extra summer evening glow. The result is soft and a little lived-in, which is exactly where I wanted it. Polished, yes, but not scrubbed clean of character.

The lashes are Jack Spoon’s Mindy lashes for The Void’s Mirage, and they give the eyes just enough weight without taking over the whole face. The dress is Just Because’s Lorna, with a simple shape that leaves room for the skin, scarf, eyes, and jewelry to do their work. My manicure is from Belle Epoque’s Barbara set, and the sparkle in my ears is Yummy’s Lilly suite.
So yes, this is a summer evening look, but it is also maintenance with better lighting. Skin still warm, hair tucked away, oil in, earrings on. Very practical. Very pretty. Very much the version of after-sun care I can get behind.
