Over the past few days, and honestly probably weeks, the socials have had plenty to say about Aradia Dielli’s new venture into mesh heads with Bespoke Caravan. Personally, I will always applaud a creative soul who decides to chase a new dream, stretch their skills, and grow as an artist. So, Ara, I wish you nothing but the very best with this new chapter.

Most of us know Bespoke Caravan for their fantastic fantasy, animal, and monster heads. That is very much their territory, and they have built a strong identity around it. With Blossom, Ara is not straying too far from what makes Bespoke Caravan such a recognizable name. Blossom may be a human, or perhaps more accurately humanoid, face, but she still carries that unmistakable fairytale quality. There is something delicate, unusual, and slightly otherworldly about her. She is beautiful, but not in a conventional, one size fits all sort of way. She can also be shaped in some pretty extreme directions, which makes her interesting right from the start.

Of course, I would not be true to myself if I did not immediately try to make her as pretty as I personally think she can be. Because apparently I cannot leave a face alone for five minutes. And honestly? I think I succeeded.

I am wearing Blossom with Velour’s Marcia skin, which is currently a gift for Premium and Premium Plus members at Access. I paired her with Doux’s Olive hair from Equal10, and I really like how the combination softens her features while still allowing that slightly enchanted quality to come through.

Now, a few caveats.

I picked up the demo for this experiment because I wanted to see how Blossom shapes, how flexible she is, and whether I could make her work for my own style. The short answer is: yes, I can.

That said, the demo comes with a notecard explaining that the head is currently available only in a light version, while the team continues working on the full release. So I am assuming, and hoping, that future updates will bring more options and refinements.

I have seen people struggle with the shape of the head, and I understand why. The chin is very pointy, and if you want to soften that sharpness, it takes some work. I managed by making my regular day to day head shape much squarer than I normally would, and by lowering the head stretch to a level that would usually make me gasp, clutch my pearls, and quietly close the editor. But Blossom needs it. She has her own rules, apparently.

My main issue, however, is not the chin. It is the eyes.

The eye shape itself is not really the problem. They are naturally very large, and if you try to make them much smaller, the face starts to distort quite quickly. That is workable. What bothers me more is that the eyeballs seem a little too small for the actual sockets. You can see it in the outer corners, where there is quite a bit of space. I tried adjusting the puffiness and playing with the shape settings, but it does not really go away. It is just there, sitting in the corner, judging me. Rude.

The HUD is user friendly, but if you have spent years using the LeLUTKA HUD, there will be a learning curve. That is not a criticism, just reality. Different system, different habits, different buttons to poke while muttering at your screen. Nothing a little patience and practice cannot solve.

So, am I going to buy Blossom after trying the demo?

Yes. Absolutely.

Is she going to become a head I wear every day?

I am not sure. She is quite far outside my usual Grazia comfort zone. She feels more like a special occasion head for me, something beautiful and unusual to bring out when the look asks for a bit of magic. She is not my everyday face, but that does not make her any less worth exploring.

I love supporting our Second Life entrepreneurs, especially the ones who take risks and build something with a clear point of view. The team behind Blossom deserves that support. At L$ 2899, the price feels fair, especially for something this distinctive.

I am genuinely curious to see where Bespoke Caravan takes this next. Blossom may not be for everyone, but she is memorable. And in a grid full of pretty faces, memorable is not a small thing.

XO, Graz

Welcome to Pixel Approved. I’m Grazia.

This blog is where I share what I wear, what I see, and what’s on my mind.

Some days, it’s about digital fashion and styling in Second Life. Other days, it’s a personal journal where I unpack random thoughts, trends, or things that just won’t leave my head. I review skins I love, explore beautiful places you might’ve missed, and always keep a sharp eye on details that matter.

If you’re here for virtual fashion, clean edits, smart opinions, or a quiet escape—you’ll feel at home.
