Some skins immediately tell you what they want to be. Others make me want to poke around a little, change a few things, and see where I end up. Nami, the new skin by Stray Dog, definitely falls into the latter category.

I started with Nami completely out of the box on LeLUTKA Sasha, a head I have loved since it was first released. Sasha has always appealed to me because of her strong features and fabulous bone structure, especially those cheekbones and that beautifully defined jaw. Nami works very well with all of that. She has a smooth, polished complexion, softness around the mouth and nose, and plenty of definition around the eyes. And because bald is so very bald, I have added Areal’s hairbase.

The eye area was actually the one thing I wanted to soften a little. There is quite a bit happening underneath the eyes with Nami as she comes, and on Sasha it pulled my attention there more than I wanted. So I started tinkering. I swapped the original brows for Nuve’s Noelle brows, which are cleaner and more structured and work beautifully with Sasha’s features. Then I added an under-eye concealer by Izzie’s, followed by two very subtle highlights, also from Izzie’s, on the chin and the tip of the nose. Tiny changes, but together they gave me exactly the canvas I wanted.

From there, I went straight for colour. The blush is by Velour, and yes, it is a fiery red. RED. On my cheeks. Used with some restraint, it gives Nami a gorgeous warm flush that works particularly well with the colours of the outfit. Insol’s Sensai lashes add definition around the eyes, while the glossy red lips from Ives’ Ardo Gloss set finish the makeup du jour. I especially love that lip here. The shine keeps such a saturated red looking fresh rather than heavy.

And then, clearly, there was no point in becoming shy about more colour.

The Tressa blouse and turban by Varsity are a vibrant pink, which I paired with the Maisie trousers by Giz Seorn in ruby red. I love pink and red together when the shades are strong enough to stand up to each other, and these absolutely are. Tressa brings all that wonderful volume to the upper half of the look, while the trousers keep things cleaner underneath. Add the turban framing the face and there is already quite enough going on.

Which is exactly why there is no jewellery. I considered it, briefly, but earrings or a necklace would only compete with the turban, the colours and the shape of the blouse. This is one of those outfits where less really is more, even when almost everything you are wearing is pink or red.

XO, Graz

This blog is where I share what I wear, what I see, and what’s on my mind.

Some days, it’s about digital fashion and styling in Second Life. Other days, it’s a personal journal where I unpack random thoughts, trends, or things that just won’t leave my head. I review skins I love, explore beautiful places you might’ve missed, and always keep a sharp eye on details that matter.

If you’re here for virtual fashion, clean edits, smart opinions, or a quiet escape—you’ll feel at home.
