Linden Lab runs a category on the Second Life Community blog where they spotlight residents who help shape the platform. They interview creators, videographers, event organizers, community builders and anyone who brings something meaningful to SL.
A few weeks ago, I received an invitation to take part. I did not expect it and I needed a moment to process it. I have been blogging SL fashion since the very early days, almost two decades now, but I never assume that longevity equals relevance. Pixel Approved and before that Graziasl.com have always been my personal archive of looks, moods and moments. It keeps track of my own journey more than anything else. I never imagined myself listed beside the people who have been featured there.
Curiosity and vanity are a good mix, so of course I said yes. I enjoyed answering the questions because they made me think about how much SL has shaped my life, how many people I have met through it and how much this creative world still gives me.
The post went live yesterday. Your reactions came in fast and they made the experience feel even more special. Many of you reached out on different platforms with kind words, and I appreciate every message. It reminded me that the SL community still has a generous heart.
Here is the post. Take a moment to read the other interviews too. You will find dedicated people who enrich Second Life in many ways.
