Where to begin….
Welcome to the Worker’s Republic of MOTHERLAND, as per the land description? MOTHERLAND is a sandbox, where you can work on your little projects. When I say little, I mean that physically, the sandbox area isn’t big. But man, will your creative brains be tickled when you visit this sim. The group owner of MOTHERLAND is Pira (igor.novikov), the owner of NOMAD, and that should tell you something about the level of creative excellence and chaos you will encounter when you visit this sim. It’s just sheer joy! From the music stream ( I was welcomed by a brilliant jazzy rendition of Pachelbel’s Canon by an artist called Hiromi), and wandering around, various parcels offered me classic French chansons, tango-inspired tunes and soft indie tunes. But I am getting distracted by the musical creativity here, back to the sim!
I first arrived at MOTHERLAND because, after a visit to Anthology last night, I wanted to visit KOO’s main store. They sell beautiful materials and a couple of fun/weird statues at Anthology, so I wanted to see what else they do. Was I in for a surprise! I honestly didn’t know where to look first. Eclectic is an understatement! Surprises everywhere! 10/10 would recommend!
Music Club, Arcade Center, Cat cafè? They got your back! Day Spa? Check! Mushroom lunchroom? Sure thing! But maybe the best feature of MOTHERLAND is the free hugs chair! It’s awesome!
You’d almost forget MOTHERLAND was primarily set up as a sandbox. Really, even if you don’t create anything, you should visit. I happily spent two hours here exploring, marveling, and getting inspired by the creativity of the people involved in this sim!
