I was just thinking when I was preparing to blog Boataom‘s new skin Cady, that I rarely show a skin straight from the folder so to speak. With the use of my preferred eyebrows, a few moles and sometimes an eyelid corrector, I am already showing you my personalized clean look of these new skins. So for this entry, I am inviting you along to that personalization process!
Today I bought Cady, the new skin out at Boataom. Boataom is a brand I rarely demo, because the quality of their skins is always awesome, and they are so pretty I will MAKE them work, even if I have to seriously tweak my shape or switch out a head for the sheer pleasure of being able to wearing these pretty faces. And Cady is no different. Look! And take a second look at my pretty eyes, They are from Avi-Glam, Sagittarius and they will be available at Access!

I am wearing her on LeLutka‘s Ora and I tweaked my regular shape seriously to accommodate the head switch, because Ora does not look cute on my Avalon based shape! Cady’s adorable, but there are some things which I rather tweak for my own nude face look. So let’s do it!

For starters, I switched out the Cady skin with brows, for the browless version and applied my Nuve Noelle eyebrows. Blonde ones this time instead of my usual black, but it already feels way more me! As you can see, the skin comes naturally with some eyeshadow on which gives it already quite an intense gaze, and she has these built in teeth in the lips, which I am absolutely not a fan of. So that needed to be addressed asap!

And here I am again, voicing my appreciation for Izzie’s and Nuve, two of my go to brands when it comes to concealing and correcting! Let’s check the list, ok?

From Izzie’s, I am wearing:
04 Eyebags 75%
04 Shadows 75%
Eyelid changer Med Cr11
Under Eye Concealer 04
02 Inside lips corrector (worn over shade 1 from the Cady lipstick, that comes with the skin)
From Nuve, aside from my brows, I am wearing
Contour 50% cheeks
Highlighter 50% cheeks

And that, my dears gives me the canvas I like to work on. Which I did with a combination of Do Not Care by Top1Salon for my lips, Identity Faces Young Collection for my eyes, Jack Spoon‘s Circe waterline and a dash of The Skinnery for some under eye blush (comes standard with their skins)
My gorgeous satin blouse and top are from the latest release by The Kiwi Co. which has just dropped. It’s called the Monaco collection.

Quite a difference, right? Oh last but not least, my hair is Canvas from Stealthic, coming to Access and my earrings are from the Yummy Luxury earring collection.

PS: I forgot to mention that for my makeup, I actually tweaked my shape another bit. SL lipstick is usually a bit overdrawn, and since I don’t mind a pout but don’t appreciate a bee-stung look, I made my lips less full to compensate for the overdrawn lip line. Try it! You will find it useful!

Welcome to Pixel Approved. I’m Grazia.

This blog is where I share what I wear, what I see, and what’s on my mind.

Some days, it’s about digital fashion and styling in Second Life. Other days, it’s a personal journal where I unpack random thoughts, trends, or things that just won’t leave my head. I review skins I love, explore beautiful places you might’ve missed, and always keep a sharp eye on details that matter.

If you’re here for virtual fashion, clean edits, smart opinions, or a quiet escape—you’ll feel at home.
