If you don’t woe me by now

what is your current favourite show? I am swept away by Tim Burton’s Wednesday series for Netflix. So I had to turn Graz into my version of Wednesday for the blog… It kind of started while still wearing yesterday’s outfit and remembering that, before I adjusted my shape to the wider mouth which I usually do like on my avie, the lips on Avalon with the Sol skin from Guapa had a more or less Wednesday-ish pout. So that was the start to see how far I could pull it off.

I think I make a cute Wednesday, wearing Guapa’s Sol skin on LeLUTKA‘s Avalon, with Izzie‘s smokey smeared mascara and Temizi’s chin cleft. My hair is called Wednesday (obviously) and is from Rama Salon, and I am wearing Violent Seduction’s regicide dress. I still think they pulled a shitty stunt at The Arcade, making the left shoe and the right shoe, as well as the left and right sock, and the left and right laces separate purchases, but I love this dress and it does make me think of the one Wednesday was wearing at the Rave’N

above is the unedited, raw from sl version, below, I did some minimal editing!

Psychopaths

One of the brands I always buy during the weekend sales is Technofolk. I love their style, even though it is very much not me. I rarely wear their stuff, but I’m in awe with their aesthetics and creativity! So today I decided I will go out in a Technofolk outfit!

However, I have started the day with Guapa‘s Sol skin (weekend sale) on LeLUTKA‘s Avalon head. My hair is by Lueur (also a weekend sale item) and I am wearing COCO Design‘s Ribbed sweater, which is ALSO a weekend sale item. Yet,I am not feeling cheap :D. When I say weekend sale, it can be any of the many. I lose track!

However, with a fierce Technofolk outfit, I felt I needed a fierce makeup, and Identity Faces happens to have out the Love Me collection for the weekend sales, and the smokey glittery eye and glossy burgundy lips are perfect, especially when I added a little contour by Dotty’s Secret (Blended 2, 50%). Quite a difference, eh?

And there we are. 1:100 children are psychopaths? Sounds reasonable when you look at the amount of psycho (and socio-) paths in the world. I think it may actually be a little more!

So all items are by Technofolk here, from the coat and the shirt, to the pants and the harnesses. Only my Lena ankle boots, which you can’t see here, but fit the look very well, are from Gos

Effortless Elegance

Being elegant in SL is not much different from RL. I used to attend some fashion shows in SL, mainly when a stylish vainpyre who happens to be my immortal brother used to grace the runway with his pixels and I was always fascinated with what SLmodels and show producers consider(ed) to be high fashion and/or elegance. An overload of accessories, attachments, intricate prim torturing outfits (pre-mesh) on stick thin models with maxed-out boobs which would cause them serious back pain in RL (or to tip over because top heavy). To be honest, fashion shows in SL used to be my guilty pleasure, my trainwreck that I could not look away from. Elegance for me is less is more. Or like Mme Chanel used to say, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off

Today’s skin is one of the weekend sales offers from Guapa, Marieta, worn on LeLUTKA‘s Avalon. I’m wearing Wings ER1203 hair with it, which is out now at Anthem and Tville’s Stardust eyes. I have added some freckles from the Boheme Collection from Jack Spoon and I am wearing here the Tattered sweater from Tres Blah

Beautiful skin doesn’t need much, so I went with Goreglam Dior eyeshadow, which I made slightly less opaque because I wanted it a bit lighter than the full 100% version, and my lipstick, oh my lipstick, is from Nuve, the Glam Lipstick Chic from Anthem, which is also available in a Gothic version. She should have called it Chicstick because it’s so gorgeous and flawless and chic.

Nothing says elegance like a high waist pencil skirt, which I am wearing in a knit version here from Stories & Co. Weekend sales, so the min set of 4 colours per body type is only 60L$! You don’t need to spend a fortune to look like a million dollar! To keep it semi casual, instead of a crisp shirt, I decided to go with this cropped sweater from Reign, but to glam it up with Yummy‘s Holiday party set, Pure Poison‘s Lady Pumps, and a simple tote from DDL… There, that is all.
