Pixelapproved!

I have a not-so-secret wish to befriend a murder of crows. Honestly, who wouldn’t? These sleek little geniuses use tools, play pranks, plan ahead, recognize faces and even hold funerals. Equal parts awesome and eerie. Which is why when you notice a whole murder sitting in a tree watching you… no, you are not paranoid. They really are watching you.

On the isle of Lake Bled, there is a tree packed with them. When I visited, one actually landed on my arm. For a moment, I felt chosen. Maybe it was my aura, but more likely it was the spooky Grimrose sweater by Mellow Elie, which will be out soon at FaMESHed. While I am not usually the most spoopy of creatures, this sweater is simply too good. You can go full skeleton-and-roses or choose the slightly less morbid version with just the roses on the sleeves. Both are adorable.

I paired it with Lamb’s Slip skirt and layered Mellow Elie’s Fable leggings underneath. They’re a loose knit BOM dream, perfect for layering under skirts and dresses. You can just as easily wear them with shorts or on their own with an oversized sweater when you want to lean into cozy chic.

Boots are apparently my theme of the week, because on my feet today are the Ayden Chunky Heel boots from Gos Boutique. They are stompy in all the right ways.

Makeup wise, I leaned moody with Velour’s Lixe faded lipstick and their Abrasive eyeshadow, plus the Void Mirage lashes for that extra bit of drama. And while it is tempting to only wear new shinies, don’t forget the gems you already own. My hair is Doux’s Victoria, a slightly older style, but still perfect with this whole vibe.

And since one corvid has already landed on me, I suppose that makes it official: outfit approved by the murder.
