Have you checked out the new skins for women from Stray Dog at Kustom9 yet? I slipped into Livia today and honestly, I have to restrain myself from going completely off track and lecturing you about Livia Drusilla, wife of emperor Augustus, still considered one of the most powerful and influential women of the Roman Empire. Let’s just say this skin is worthy of her name. The features are so beautifully classic that she could easily rival any historical icon of beauty and strength. Out of the box, she is already a powerhouse. I even kept her original brows instead of reaching for my usual ones. That says something.
To let her shine, I put my hair up in a bun. Well, not just any bun—this is Cordelia by Magika. It’s actually quite a formal fantasy style, but from the front it looks clean and understated, keeping the face open.

With a touch of makeup, the skin really comes alive. I kept it simple: Ladybird’s Marasi lipstick from Flagship Week, Alba’s Control eyeliner, and Nuve’s Flora lashes. Nothing more was needed.

Speaking of fashion: Ana (Fanny Finney), who you probably know from her beautiful storytelling poses under the Anapose brand, has now ventured into fashion design. After some lovely basics, she just released the Hearst set under her Zarel brand, which includes a tank top, joggers, and a cozy cardigan. The cardigan deserves special mention, because it actually fits with Mellow Elie’s Canal skirt (yes, the one I blogged yesterday) without cutting through that playful top ruffle, so you don’t have to derender it! I love it when things work together like I want them to!

Underneath, I’m wearing Nuve’s Chloe lingerie in BOM because, let’s be real, the Hearst tank has a cheeky little nip slip situation. On my feet, KC Couture’s Philly sneakers, endlessly customizable thanks to their generous HUD.
That’s my Friday look wrapped up. Now, excuse me while I go outside to try to convince the peacocks Winter dumped on my lawn to please stop screaming. And yes, they might be even more in your face than my vainpyre brother himself.

XO, Graz
