Flagship Week at Mellow Elie had me swooning the moment I slipped into the new Canal Skirt. The leather and suede textures are rich, but it is really that playful ruffle along the top that makes it special. Playful, yes. Easy to style, not so much. My blogger heart wanted to pair it with multiple brands for some variety, but every cardigan or jacket I tried looked like it wanted to fight with that ruffle. Now mind you, you can turn it off in the HUD, which makes it a whole lot easier to style, but for me, the ruffle is what makes this skirt delightful and special!

The solution? The softest tank, also by Mellow Elie, layered with Elikatira’s Thiya cardigan which, miraculously, does not clip through my behind like so many others. Victory!

For the finishing touches, I added COCO Designs’ dark brown knee boots, Mandala’s Kyara long necklace, and Loveholic’s Madisson glasses. My hair is Doux’ Christwo, casual waves with a beret built in, though I left it transparent for a clean look.

The result is a mix of comfort and sass: perfect for curling up with a book and tea, yet polished enough to turn heads when I step outside. That, in my book, is the sweet spot.

XO, Graz

[…] The cardigan deserves special mention, because it actually fits with Mellow Elie’s Canal skirt (yes, the one I blogged yesterday) without cutting through that playful top ruffle, so you don’t have to derender it! I love it […]

Some days, it’s about digital fashion and styling in Second Life. Other days, it’s a personal journal where I unpack random thoughts, trends, or things that just won’t leave my head. I review skins I love, explore beautiful places you might’ve missed, and always keep a sharp eye on details that matter.
