I am freezing today, but my Teegle beagle Douglas has zero patience for excuses. If I don’t walk him enough, he turns into a mischievous little monster, so off we went for a hike at Mindful Cove. And honestly, I didn’t mind once we got there. Whether or not you’re into actual mindfulness, the sim is breathtaking. Rolling forests, winding rivers, curious little critters hiding in the underbrush… it’s the kind of landscape where you can lose track of time and still feel like you haven’t seen it all.

At least I was dressed for the weather. Thalia Heckroth’s new trench coat is a dream in cotton gabardine: functional against the chill, yet still elegant enough that you could step straight into a city café afterwards. I paired it with C’est la Vie’s BOM Inda leggings (perfect for layering) and Nutmeg’s sturdy riding boots for those woodland paths. To top it all off, LaGyo’s beanie and scarf kept me warm, while Wasabi’s Butterscotch hair added a playful softness.

Of course, no outfit can fully prepare you for a beagle on the loose. The moment I unclipped Douglas’ leash, he bolted after the poor rabbits, leaving me with my best attempt at a stern face… which he, predictably, ignored. Still, he’s my good boy. So now as I type this with a steaming cup of tea, Douglas is happily crunching on a freeze-dried rabbit ear. Fair is fair, I suppose.

XO, Graz
