Velvet Bohème is just a day away at this point, and while creators are still setting up, you can already feel its spirit sneaking into every corner. Caity has captured the vibe of the festival beautifully on her blog; go read her if you want to immerse yourself in that atmosphere. Me? I’ll happily stick to the fashion side of things, with a few irresistible decor detours.

Take this living room set by Natacha Haroldsen for Enaitch. Sleek and modern, yet it somehow whispers bohemian lullabies. The couch practically begs you to curl up barefoot, Ravi Shankar playing in the background, maté in hand, and incense smoke lazily dancing through the room. The kind of incense you’ve had hidden away in a cupboard for years, waiting for precisely this moment. Heart Gardens provided the delicate Queen Anne’s Lace in the oversized pot, while the lace curtain is a nostalgic piece from KnickKnacks, Enaitch’s earlier incarnation.

As for me, I slipped into Zaara’s Fawn Fringe Tank and paired it with Aleutia’s Zoey skirt. Both are soft, flowing, comfortable, and available in enough colors to satisfy any mood. Around my neck rests Kungler’s Birdy necklace, simple yet powerful, with my favorite crystals quietly working their magic at heart and solar plexus level. Rufus, however, isn’t too keen on Ravi’s music. He’ll probably wait it out until couch-cuddles are on the table—and honestly, I can’t blame him.

On the beauty side, I’m wearing Glam Affair’s Imogen. Those brows! Those lips! I barely had to adjust my shape at all, just added the eye makeup that comes right in the box. My hair base and scarf are part of Tableau Vivant’s Heritage 74 set, a perfect finishing touch. The only things not debuting at Velvet Bohème tomorrow? My Yummy Alicia hoops, Rufus, the Queen Anne’s Lace, and that lace curtain. Everything else, though, is ready and waiting for its moment under the Velvet Bohème spotlight.
