One evening you walk home and notice it. Something has changed. The air no longer carries the sweetness of summer. Instead there is a whisper of something new. The scent is elusive, almost impossible to define. Is it the faint promise of crisp leaves about to turn? The heavy silence of days growing shorter? The grass, freshly cut for perhaps the last time this season? Or maybe the charge of a thunderstorm rolling somewhere in the distance. I cannot put my finger on it, but I know it’s there.

For evenings like this, I could not be happier with Mellow Elie’s Coastal Jacket. It feels exactly as I imagine autumn should feel: soft, comfortable, and ready to shield me from that creeping evening chill. Better yet, it comes in a glorious range of textures and colors. Denim for those casual strolls, plaid for a touch of timeless charm, and warm fall tones for the days when you are already leaning into the season.

The Coastal Jacket makes its debut on September 1 at the premiere of Velvet Bohème, a brand new boho-inspired celebration of fashion, art, and music. Truly the perfect event to carry us from the languid days of late summer into the drama of spooky season.

Though the jacket pairs beautifully with Mellow Elie’s own high-waisted bottoms, I decided to style it with Fashionably Dead’s Satin Midi Skirt. The fluid silk against the structured jacket just works. And yes, it also conveniently shows off that tiny bird tattoo from Alba on my stomach. On my feet, I slipped into Mowie’s Emily boots with their sleek pointed toe and elegant stiletto heel.

Beauty wise, I have been leaning into olive-toned skins. LeLutka’s Camille started this love affair, and now this recent release from Glam Affair has sealed the deal. Meet Phoebe, worn here in D001, paired with the lipstick that comes with her for a seamless fit. My hair is Tram P0825, newly released at Uber, and the finishing touch is Yummy’s Petit Perle earrings that somehow migrated from last night’s kitchen adventures into today’s look.

I shot this set in Trompe Loeil’s Arkita skybox, a dreamy space that feels both modern and otherworldly. Sleek architecture softened by organic lines and sky views that border on fantasy. Rufus, my latest companion from Rezz Room, kept me company during the shoot and fully approved of the vibe.

And so here we are: summer is slipping quietly into memory, while autumn breathes down our necks with just enough chill to keep us reaching for something soft and comforting. If the seasons must change, at least we can dress beautifully for the transition.

XO, Graz

Welcome to Pixel Approved. I’m Grazia.

This blog is where I share what I wear, what I see, and what’s on my mind.

Some days, it’s about digital fashion and styling in Second Life. Other days, it’s a personal journal where I unpack random thoughts, trends, or things that just won’t leave my head. I review skins I love, explore beautiful places you might’ve missed, and always keep a sharp eye on details that matter.

If you’re here for virtual fashion, clean edits, smart opinions, or a quiet escape—you’ll feel at home.
