Opening on May 31st is the 19th edition of the iconic Hair Fair, which, together with Relay for Life, may well be the longest running event in SL!
Hair Fair benefits Wigs for Kids, a charity providing children who have lost their hair due to illness and/or medical treatment with wigs and hair pieces, and when you check their site, the smiles on the faces of the children who have received one of their hair replacement systems are amazing. The hope and the happiness are real!

That’s why I make a point of supporting Hair Fair every year. I happily go bankrupt on the creations of SL’s finest designers who have all committed to donating a minimum of 15% of every sale and many even donate 100% of their Hair Fair exclusive releases!! Last year, the grand total of L$ raised for Wigs for Kids was 3,873,849, which equals almost 15K in Real Live dollars! It would be awesome if the SL community can top that this year! The work of the creators is almsot done, they are currently setting up, so now it’s up to us, the SL residents to make that magic happen!!

Make sure you join the Hair Fair demo group, for lag-free trying out of all the hair and hair-related releases, because demos will be shared there ahead of the opening and of course, keep an eye out on the Hair Fair website for a shopping guide in the coming days!
