Pixelapproved!

When an established creator in SL decides to branch out into another type of content entirely, that catches my attention. When that creator decides to dip their feet into the creation of one of my favorite collectibles in SL: skins, that not only grabs my attention, but it also makes me TP into the event they premier at, even if it’s at a “get up for work time” on a Sunday morning! So yeah, that is what just happened when I rushed to Uber to buy Anaskn‘s Serin. Anaskn is the skin brand of Ana Finney, the creator behind Ana Poses.

And Ana did not disappoint! Serin is a beautiful face in 2k, highly detailed and exuding a soft femininity which I love and comes with a ton of options such as eyebrows and hairbases in various colors, blush, contour, freckles and lip tints, as well as some eye liners. Did I have some issues fitting her? Oh yeah! Since I couldn’t find which head Fanny has used to create this skin for, I decided to just continue to wear my LeLutka Camilla head for this, and I could not make the nostrils work with the skin for the love of it. I took off my nose deformer, tweaked the living hell out of my nose and other face sliders, but the nasal “motte” -for the lack of a better word- continued to show and annoy me. Determined to make it work, I used one of Izzie’s miracle correctors (Nose Fix) and voila…. nose issue fixed!

Is it a 100% perfect? No, but perfection is boring anyway. The skin is in 2k, and Izzie‘s correctors are not, so when you zoom in really close up, you will notice a texture difference. But be honest, can you distinguish between Izzie’s layer and Serin on the pic above?
