Pixelapproved!

Some time ago, I picked up David Heather‘s Emilia dress at an event, but I didn’t really know how to style it for the blog. It’s beautiful and elegant, like all of David’s designs, but while i instantly fell in love with it, I didn’t know how to wear it. Until today.

The dress is beige, but the belt is HUD driven, so I made it that beautiful burgundy red which David Heather has in his collection. Then I paired it with Salvadori‘s Fernanda d’Orsay pumps and their Top-handle bag, both of which are discounted right now for various weekend sales.

While I was shooting and styling this outfit, my long-time friend and debauched piece of hunk Lucius messaged me that he had published his latest post for his blog After Dark in SL, where he reviews and writes stories about several clubs of the more adult kind. I seriously recommend you to read his work. It’s a funny, at time bitingly sarcastic (which I also find really funny), and very eloquent growing compendium of clubs ranging from the well-known to the very obscure (in all possible ways) and to my surprise he featured me in his latest entry on Pino’s. The entry about Pino’s is different from his other blog posts, it’s more of a story he tells, evoked by the ambiance of place. I leave it up to you to decide how fictitious or not is the post. But I completely agree with Lucius that Pino’s is a delightful little den of iniquity, with a friendly group of people who actually have a conversation going.

Back to today’s look though. Other than this pretty dress, I am wearing Nar Mattaru‘s latest skin Auriel, with Jack Spoon‘s Sicilian Siren beauty marks, and their Bellucci lashes. Et voilà, thank you Steffy for giving me the inspiration for the styling of this post. Southern Italy it is! And Truth‘s newest hair Linger is perfect with it!
I’m also wearing Alaskametro<3 Paris eyeshadow in a very soft blue hue, and from Kibitz I am wearing both their Emiliana choker and Coco’s necklace.

Now I feel like having a gelato!
