And by now, Skinfair 2025 is well on it’s way! And I had to dedicate a 3rd post in which I ramble a bit. One thing that I was a bit miffed with during the soft opening -for various (sponsor) group members- was that there was a continuous chat announcement on where to find the Genus booth, but that Genus booth has remained empty thus far. They probably will be set up by the time the opening is official, but to be honest, by then I will have lost my interest. After all, I bought the mega pack of their new head last Skinfair and uhm… once I think. I wore it once. At events I buy on impulse. I have a budget and will shop until I reach my limit. So if I cannot buy during my first visit at a soft opening (mind you, not an old fashioned blogger preview with “we’re still setting up, have mercy” caveat), chances are big you lose out on my, and potentially other people’s purchases.

Oh well, more money to spend on shops who have set up in time, which, I will say are a lot! This post is for looks that are not my obvious go to styles, but I love the skins, so here we go!

First we have Sugar by Poema. Sugar is living her best post retirement life. She has a waterfront condo in Boca, but spends part of the year in Europe to visit the various Fashion weeks, and to enjoy an extended vacation at the Cote d’Azur with her much younger companion. I have clad her here in David Heather‘s Gemma turtleneck as Sugar has still some bruising from a recent encounter with Italy’s leading cosmetic surgeon, and is not quite ready yet to flaunt her rejuvenated neck and chest! Her hair is Tiropl by Opale and it is meticulously colored in a very fashionable ashy blonde. No cataract in sight yet with leLutka‘s eyes from the EvoX HUD!

And to conclude this series, meet Mira by Navzar. A beautiful Asian lady. While I do like to collect skins from different ethnicities, I also tend to buy those during sales, because I am not going to wear them often, and so I can’t justify spending full price on skins like that. However, Mira was calling out to me, so here we are! I stuck with the cream-colored turtle necks here, and Mira is wearing a Fuzzy one from Fashionably Dead. Her hair is Hwa Young from Rama Salon, and her dark brown eyes are Kimmie by Avi-Glam.

And that, my dear readers, was the end of my Skinfair budget. Well, not really, I also bought a bunch of makeup because oh my, is there a lot for you all to splurge on. But you’ll see that back in future posts on this blog. Just go see for yourself and drop a few L$ here and there with creators you admire! As with the other posts, all skins are worn on leLUTKA‘s Camila with my own, slightly tweaked shape for each skin, and have not undergone any post-processing.

That’s it for now, be kind! <3

Welcome to Pixel Approved. I’m Grazia.

This blog is where I share what I wear, what I see, and what’s on my mind.

Some days, it’s about digital fashion and styling in Second Life. Other days, it’s a personal journal where I unpack random thoughts, trends, or things that just won’t leave my head. I review skins I love, explore beautiful places you might’ve missed, and always keep a sharp eye on details that matter.

If you’re here for virtual fashion, clean edits, smart opinions, or a quiet escape—you’ll feel at home.
