I don’t always wake up looking like I have slept a hundred years and time has had no impact on me. Fact is, I usually sleep horribly and time seems to have an incrementally bigger impact on yours truly, and more often than not, I feel like I look like a zombie when I enter the bathroom in the morning for my skin routine, hoping that at least I can make myself half presentable again that day. Makeup and coffee are magic for real, because for the few days I seriously can’t be arsed to fix my face and go out with just some mascara and lip gloss, people will invariably ask me if I am okay, and if I wouldn’t rather go home. Why yes, I just might! On days like that, I should probably have taken a mental health day to start with.
Even when I make an effort to look sleep-deprived and sad in SL the effect is still pretty gorgeous. Especially when I am wearing the Billie skin from WIHK, and add a few Izzie’s layers for that “no makeup just woke up slightly hungover” look. The layers I have used here are the eye bags that come with the Billie skin, and the blemishes, veins and lips from Izzie’s Face Imperfections. Also from Izzie’s, a chin dimple, and from The Skinnery, my usual mole and lip scar.
Avi-Glam offers their eyes with different sclera options, and I went for the Trendie eyes with the slightly muted sclera, showing some veins.
I obviously am going to need some work today, so let’s start with a nice shower and untangle my S-Club Ariel hair!

Shower done and first coffee down, I already feel more human, so after having toned and moisturized my skin I am ready to start make up and getting dressed!

It may sound silly, but on days that I don’t feel really well, I tend to dress up to ambition. Bold colors, well tailored stuff, pretty fabrics. Like that will help making me feel better. And frankly it does. Not always, and not in the amount I’d like it to, but it does help! Therefore today is is an orange day!

I’m wearing Giz Seorn‘s Brandie Belted jacket in a special color which she released at some point for a weekend sale. However, it is still available in the store at regular price if you decide you want to have it too! My skirt is by COCO designs. I am a sucker for these satin skirts which are so classify and feminine. I decided for a little contrast for my shoes, which are Gos Boutique‘s Alexandra Pointed pumps to avoid that halfway through the day, I’ll start thinking I just look like an orange.

The end effect if not bad eh? I used the eyeshadow and lipstick from Identity Faces Unforgettable collection and worked with Izzie’s contour and highlight layers to give some extra pep to my face. A little touch of brightness under the eyes, the tip of your nose and the philtrum does wonders! You can edit these layers to adjust them to your skin tone, so the effect can be as bold or natural as you prefer it to be. Also, I have switched my eyes out for the bright white sclera version of the Trendie eyes by Avi-Glam. It almost looks like I have had a spa day instead of a sleepless night, no? Brushing my S-Club Audrey hair out and I am good to go! First stop, more coffee!

That is it for now. Be kind!! <3

Welcome to Pixel Approved. I’m Grazia.

This blog is where I share what I wear, what I see, and what’s on my mind.

Some days, it’s about digital fashion and styling in Second Life. Other days, it’s a personal journal where I unpack random thoughts, trends, or things that just won’t leave my head. I review skins I love, explore beautiful places you might’ve missed, and always keep a sharp eye on details that matter.

If you’re here for virtual fashion, clean edits, smart opinions, or a quiet escape—you’ll feel at home.
