So, it’s been a while since a new system of body skins was released. I’m sure you’ve all heard about Velour and maybe Baotaom but now the powerhouses of Glam Affair and Not Found have joined hands and have developed Ethereal Essence Body skins. And, I must confess, I find them quite alluring! They come in 3 versions, Skinny, Slim and Curvy and currently they are available for Legacy and Reborn.
These body skins come in 35 (!) skintones! 20 in the lighter palette and 15 in the darker shades. Above I am wearing L006, so fairly light. My lingerie is Amiah, by Aeygo.
Let me quickly pick the lightest and the darkest shade for you to see how vast the range is.
Ladies and gentlemen, please see below, L001, the lightest tone available. What I love about these very pale tones is that they are not overly saturated (aka. pink or orange). They have a pretty neutral undertone, which I love. For this shade, I picked the curvy version, and the voluptuous love handles are part of the skin! And then we switch to the darkest tone, and I’ll pick the skinny skin for that and oh my, she’s dark!! Lucious, dark 90% cacao, dark! Beautiful melanine goddess dark! Lingerie shown is Bella, by Fashionably dead
The subtle highlights on these skins are beautiful, it really gives well moisturized supple skin! And the detailes, for instance on the handpalms and the feet are amazing!
Last but not least, I give you D009, a medium dark skin, worn with Glam Affair‘s new Dalila skin, which s made in the new skin tones, for your convenience, because It’s gonna take a while to see if older skins will match and how well. I figured out already that Not Found Peach matches really well with L006! But a little guidance from the creators would be much appreciated, if only for their own (older) skins!
I hope these skin tones get traction from the skin-creating community because they really deserve it. I have also heard a rumor that Velour will soon come out with a new range of body skins, so stay tuned—the game is on!
