Pixelapproved!

Today’s spotlight is for Glam Affair‘s Coraline, currently out at Kustom9. As always Glam Affair’s skins look fresh and beautiful and I feel like they have been going lighter on the baked shadows on the faces lately, or maybe I have changed something in my settings that makes the difference because it’s not bothering me as much as it has done for quite a while!

This is her, out of the box, with just the addition of my lip scar and moles. The soft brown (or is it mocha mousse?) eyes are from Avi-Glam‘s Appealing eyes set. My Bold Curve ponytail is from Studio Exposure, and the attachment is flexi, and honestly, I hate flexi hair. It looks out of date -2008 called, they want their hair back-, with the alpha-infested panels and always cutting into the avatar’s body, and I really don’t know why it has made a comeback, but: Studio Exposure‘s hair bases are awesome, and that is why I bought this one. And I can always switch out the flexi-nightmare for a stylish bun, or one of their non-flexi ponytails. See below what I mean when I say flexi-nightmare! So awkward! Seriously, don’t settle for this, there is better than flexi hair on the grid! Don’t buy it! Pun intended :D

So as I am putting on some makeup, I also did my hair properly, by selecting the Rosa ponytail from Studio Exposure for a more modern and frankly, more elegant, look. Even if I am going to keep the rest of my outfit and makeup simple, because I am just going to decorate my skybox some more.

For my eyes, I went with Goreglam‘s Bliss eyeshadow, and I have applied a pink “jelly style” blush by Velour for that extra little bit of glow. On my lips, I am wearing Jack Spoon‘s Jacques lipstick. I love a bit of a visible lipliner!

My outfit is a hotchpotch from older and newer items. Pretty new is the off shoulder mohair sweater from COCO Designs, and a bit older, but oh so comfy, are Ison‘s Mallen leggings. and then I really dug deep for these Elo boots from Eudora 3D but they are so pretty and comfortable! My earrings are from YUMMY‘s Essential hoops & studs collection.

That’s it for now, I got some new art for my skybox, so I’m going to rearrange some stuff to make place for that! Be Kind! <3
