Hi my dear readers! Happy New Year! May 2025 bring you everything you need and more! Today marks my first skin change in a while. Since LeLutka dropped their new Camila head for 12 days of Christmas, I pretty much stuck with the default skin coming with the head because it is *chef’s kiss* and it feels very me. But, today at Anthem, I saw Amara Beauty‘s Lacey and after a quick demo (New Year’s resolution: demo skins more often!) it was clear I had to have her!

Here she is, straight out of the box with her own eyebrows and Addon+ Candice hairbase. Isn’t she sweet? However, since this round of Anthem is Gatsby themed, and many make up creators came up with some gorgeous stuff, let’s play some and see how she ends up looking! As I am writing this, I am on my pose stand in world, and I have no idea yet of what I want to achieve, except that it will be dramatic, so bear with me!
Meanwhile… 2 coffee and a RL shower later, I finally got to work some make up layers! And I went full glam! So first, I changed into the browless version of Lacey, because I know that I wanted to do something with the ombre Josephine eyebrows from Nuve. Nuve is simply my eyebrow-crack dealer. Veronika is making the best! then I applied Izzie’s eyelid changer Med Cr, to correct the crease a little bit to my personal taste and I also tinted it a wee bit, so I got a darker base for layering my eyeshadow on. Because I did. A lot. The warm orange hue is from Jack Spoon‘s Biba kit, and on top of that, I applied that very thick, black eyeshadow which is in the LeLutka HUD and made it more transparent, so it would be a good base for Temizi‘s Glitter Smoke Fantasy. For extra drama, I unpacked the (recently updated to Camila) Demure lashes by Void and applied Jack Spoon‘s Nebula lashes. So that is my eye situation going on. And yes, that is the emphasis of my make up so when you know me a bit, you’ll know that the rest of my look will be fairly simple.
On my cheeks, I stuck with Jack Spoon‘s Biba kit blush, which perfectly blends into the eyeshadow. For my lips, I went back to Izzie’s Anthem release and used the 01 Gatsby lipstick, Rust 70%, for that perfect pouty mouth.

I felt it would be too easy to go full blown Gatsby/Flapper/Roaring twenties for my outfit, but I did pick Miss Chelsea‘s Shae top from this month’s Anthem, and I decided to wear it on Mellow Elie‘s Super high bells (yes again, what can I say, I love these pants) and Miamai‘s Inventory Essentials top in sand.
My hair is Virgo, from Raonhausen, and I like that it serves a sophisticated and a bit stern look.
