and as usual, I am not ready for it. Or rather, I am over it before it begins. So much to do, so little time. I love the Christmas tree, the decorations, the music, the candles, but I do not love all the social activities that come with this month. I feel overwhelmed and under-performing, because there is never time enough or energy enough to do everything I am being asked to do (or feel like i have to do to meet people’s expectations), so this year, again, I have asked for January for my birthday and/or Christmas. Not that I’ll ever get that, 2 or even 1 week early, but you know… a girl can ask?

However, LeLutka just dropped their annual tree delivery to their group, and it’s a pretty one again! And of course I rezzed a few on my land! It’s a red and pine cone tree this year. Very traditional, and beautiful! It matches also nice with this outfit I am wearing! I unpacked the Ginza Catania Palazzo pants because they have this lovely silky texture that is quite festive, but because it’s not quite Christmas yet, I am not going “all bells on”but toned it down a bit with COCO Designs Cable Knit Sweater which, with the lace cuffs is stylish, but not over the top party wear. This look screams quiet accessorizing, so therefore I reverted to my Camden boots by Mellow Elie, and the little Bianca clutch from David Heather.

While I adore Glam Affair, I have been having a few issues with their skins lately. It feels that they look younger and younger, and I personally prefer ageless to a little maturity in my skins. This Malia one has that issue too. I don’t know if it’s the button nose or the slightly overdrawn lips (which btw also makes picking a lipstick very difficult), or a combination of both, but oh my, I feel like I am barely allowed to buy a bottle of wine for the holidays. Gorgeous, but extremely young. I think that with the lipstick that comes with the skin, as well as the Luminary eyeshadow from Warpaint, available at Santa Inc., I have managed to bring her up to somewhere in her early twenties but she’ll be carded for sure!

Taken off the make up, you can see what I mean with the overdrawn lips. It just makes using make up not specifically made for this skin an issue. Luckily, Aida always supplies a few lip colors with her skins, so that helps. And I must say, the lips are very pretty and well defined. I am wearing Malia on LeLutka‘s Raven with Avi-glam‘s Trendie eyes and Magika‘s Courtney hair.

Welcome to Pixel Approved. I’m Grazia.

This blog is where I share what I wear, what I see, and what’s on my mind.

Some days, it’s about digital fashion and styling in Second Life. Other days, it’s a personal journal where I unpack random thoughts, trends, or things that just won’t leave my head. I review skins I love, explore beautiful places you might’ve missed, and always keep a sharp eye on details that matter.

If you’re here for virtual fashion, clean edits, smart opinions, or a quiet escape—you’ll feel at home.
