Pixelapproved!

In a world where you can be anything, and anyone, sometimes it’s refreshing to go for “real”. Not the pixel-perfect flawless barbie girl, but you know… real? Watever that may mean for you! For me, it means that sometimes, I like my little wrinkles, my age spots and heck, even my eyebags! In rl I frequently sport the panda look, my dark circles get so bad when I can’t seem to get enough sleep! These imperfections are not necessarily flaws, but, on good days, they are symbols of live being lived!

So for my real look (even though Graz will never look like RL me) I went for LeLutka’s Raven head, which is underrated, and I kind of had forgotten about her, until she came up in a plurk the other day. I had to do quite some tweaking of my Avalon shape to make the one work on Raven, but I think I like the end result. She’s an adult and it shows. She has a prominent nose,no lip fillers and jaws and … omg, a chin! Chins are another underrated feature in SL. Remind me to make a blog entry on that one day!

Today’s skin is Nar Mattaru‘s Liliana. Nar Mattaru needs to make more skins, I always buy them, they are lovely and special and unique! And then I started topping up layers, mainly from our avatar customization goddess Izzie Button from Izzie‘s I am wearing her eye bags, circles and shadows form her eye bag set, and some eye wrinkles too. Forehead lines, yes, they exist, just as smile lines. No botox on this girl! And then some blemishes form her imperfections pack and to top it off a few freckles. I wanted a bit more definition on my cheeks, and for that I picked the cheek contour from the Nuve contour set. You like the effect? I hope so, because I do!

Today’s hair is from Magika, Angelica, and my clothes today are from Just Because. I may have gone a bit wild on their Black Friday sale. Since they sell their items per body, this is the perfect opportunity to stack up on Legacy stuff, since I usually wear Maitreya Lara X. Still, recently I have been switching more to Legacy again.

I kept it really simple today, as I have only few spoons left, and with all the engagements in December, I am really stretched thin! I am wearing Just Because‘s Tasha shirt, over their Lydia pants, which fits perfectly!

And since I never go out without a bit of mascara and lipstick, Nuve‘s new princes lashes are amazing!!

I also put on a quick flick from Alaskametro<3, the Lia eyeliner; Lipstick is from the Identity Faces BBG set, and i tossed on the knot necklace from Sigma, just because I love it!
