Complementary colors sit opposite each other on the color wheel. They are also known as opposite or contrasting colors. When you put them next to each other, they make each other pop. Red and green, blue and orange, and yellow and purple are examples of these colors. I like using these pairs because you really can’t go wrong with these combinations.

In this case I went for a warm yellow, and a cooler purple, wearing Dernier‘s Britney Bow blouse over Ison‘s Miya high waist trousers, paired with Gos’ satin Charlene pumps. I kept accessories simple, with 2 pairs of earrings from Yummy‘s Essential hoop & studs collection.

I stayed with the theme, and used a purple hue for my lipstick and eyeshadow from Identity Faces‘ Empowered collection, and I went back to Avi-glam Trendies eyes!
For my skin, I have decided to revisit my Boataom collection, and ended up picking Sessilee in a beautiful tanned tone. She makes me feel a bit exotic. My hair is by Faga for Truth Collective and named Exhale.

Here you see her without any make-up! I also took my contacts out, so I had to put some glasses on! They are the Classic Gisele reading glasses by Salvadori. I put my locks in a braid by Truth, Flutter, and I slipped into something comfortable from Fashionably Dead to curl up with a book for a while before heading to bed! My sweater is from the Study Buddy set and my shorties are the silky sleep shorts.
